​Jody Friedman, LCSW

 

I graduated American University with a B.A. in English and received my M.S.W. from Wurzweiler School of Social Work (graduate school of Yeshiva University).  In 1991 I graduated from The National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (8 year program). In the ensuing years I studied Gestalt, Jung, Object Relations, Self Psychology, Mind/Body Integration, Multicultural Wisdom & Myths, Creative Arts Expression, Religion and Meditation 

(with decades of spiritual practice).

I am a published poet and Blues/Jazz singer.  I sculpted for many years in stone, wood and glass.
